Do You Understand Judgment?
Job 32:7-9 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. 8But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding. 9Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
Isaiah 1:16-19 16Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18Come now, and let us reason together, saith Yahuweh: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of Yahuweh hath spoken it.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus saith Yahuweh, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am Yahuweh which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith Yahuweh.
We are first to judge ourselves. Than to judge others to the point of praying intercession for them, not to condemnation.
I John 5:14-17 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
This is judgment. We are to perform righteous judgment and intercession.
Both Timothy and Titus were taught to judge in their epistles. Truth, right teaching, to reproof and rebuke, God wants us to judge according to His word. Do you judge denominations? Of course you do many of you say I’m this or that, but what does the word say? this judge in righteousness, not to condemnation but, to reproof and rebuke in the word. None of you disagreed on the teaching of Maryology or you didn’t voice it, that’s judgment, right or wrong. The word does say,”judge not less you be judged”, but what’s the whole scripture, were is it in the word? We make statements without understanding, that verse is saying judge not to condemnation of another. That is not love. That is finger pointing. Less you are judged the same way. A spiritual man judges all things.
I Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Job 34:3-4 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat. 4Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
Job 34:11-12 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. 12Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment. II Corinthians 5:9-11; I Corinthians 11:32; Hebrews 12 {all}
